YELLOWBRIX ACQUIRES SCREAMING MEDIA FROM DOW JONES & COMPANY Acquisition Enhances YellowBrix' Ability to Deliver Syndicated Business News and Information Alexandria, Virginia (September 24, 2009) - YellowBrix, Inc., a provider of targeted industry news and business information services, today announced the acquisition of Screaming Media, a Dow Jones & Company Inc., property. Screaming Media is a provider of syndicated general and business news to internets and wireless services. After a thorough search and careful consideration for the right partner, Dow Jones selected YellowBrix, who will acquire product lines, customers and content services under the Screaming Media brand. The YellowBrix acquisition of the Screaming Media business is the company's third acquisition in eight years. YellowBrix acquired iSynidcate in 2001, which expanded YellowBrix technology and content offerings, and acquired FluentMedia in 2004, to incorporate premium brand content into the YellowBrix portfolio.
